Job Summary:

Perform PVT analysis, including sample transfers according to documented procedures, including set up, maintenance and calibration of all equipment. Calculation, interpretation, quality control and reporting of raw data to the supervisor


Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Perform PVT analysis following documented procedures and conforming to client analysis programs as communicated by the Service Line Manager
  • Report back to Service Line Manager any problems encountered so that the need for application of alternative procedures can be assessed
  • Perform laboratory gas chromatography  and well site services if  requested, subject to receiving suitable training
  • Upgrading self with latest technologies
  • Servicing, repair, maintenance, restocking and calibration of equipment, spares, and consumables where necessary
  • Report any equipment failures and operational problems and execute solutions
  • Adhering to ISO 9001 quality management system related procedure
  • Adhering to the safety requirements
  • Adhering to environmental requirements
  • Handling any other related responsibility as assigned by the Service Line Manager


Educational Background:

  • University degree / Diploma in an appropriate subject


Personality Traits:

  • Devotion, dedication, goal oriented, team spirit, and self-motivated.


Experience Required:

  • One year (1) in Lab oriented environment


Physical & Mental Effort Requirements:

  • Physical strength is required for lifting heavy sample bottles and other PVT sampling equipment.  Physical stamina is required due to the repetitive nature of some tasks. May be required to stand all day. Some procedures required sustained concentration for hours at a time. Field work, both offshore and onshore is required; candidate must be physically and medically fit.
  • Mental effort required to execute work schedule designed to meet the project deadlines. Stress may be experienced due to the demands and responsibilities of the job.
