Assist in preparing and loading jobs in addition to cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment.


Operate crane and/or forklift to load and unload jobs.

Clean, service, and refurbish tools as required by supervisor.

Assembly and disassembly of tools relative to services provided per location.

Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems

Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning parts and components, using hand tools and pneumatic equipment.

Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts

Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment

Open crates, and other containers, using hand tools.

Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.

Verify quantities and count independently as required

Forward receiving paperwork to appropriate person/office after counting and indicating location on receiving document

Available on a 24 hour basis to respond to customer needs.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried ou t to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. 


**Must have previous experience with choke valves & float valves, teardown and assembly.

1-2 years experience in related oil and gas shop/warehouse. 

Good verbal communication skills

Possess extensive knowledge with equipment and services utilized by facility.

Basic operational knowledge of forklift and materials handling equipment.

Basic safe operational knowledge of hand tools and motor vehicle.

Individual must be able to follow instructions.

Should be able to work closely with fellow employees

**Must reside in/or near the Pearland TX area. 

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Strong Mechanical aptitude
