JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform any combination of the following tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Know and understand Weatherford’s quality policy and complies with all requirements of the quality manual, operating and technical procedures plus workplace instructions.

Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated area by hand, forklift, or other.

Assists management in leading Warehouse Operators to ensure job is properly completed.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Open crates, and other containers, using hand tools.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.

Verify quantities, purchase order numbers, line numbers and other pertinent information on packing slips and receive in the system. Ensure destination addresses match.

Build crates or card board containers as necessary.

Pack components, assemblies and products for shipping.

Verify the loads are on the correct trucks.

Commercial Invoices attached to paperwork if necessary

Operate forklift to weigh product and transfer product to staging areas.

Route received material to QC or to warehouse as needed. Receive material from the warehouse.

Assist with material handling needs.

Prepare finished goods for shipment: wrapping, crating, etc.

Forward receiving paperwork to Data Entry after counting and indicating location on receiving document.

Inspect warehouse equipment for proper operation.

Accept incoming shipments from vendors.

Ensure all products are properly greased or oiled prior to leaving facility.

Ensure warehouse is properly maintained such as but not limited to sweeping and dusting.

 Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Ability to differentiate parts and numbers.

Basic operational knowledge of forklift and materials handling equipment.

General warehouse experience required.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

Should be able to work closely with fellow employees.
