JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Active participation in workshop safety & toolbox meetings
  2. Active participation and contribution to workshop specific safety initiatives
  3. Report all hazards and unsafe act.
  4. Under supervision be involved on preparing Pre-Load Out equipment checks for operations and ensure fit for purpose
  5. Under supervision, use and complete Weatherford Maintenance Supporting Documentation as per company requirements 
  6. Participate in the review and improvements of Supporting QA/QC Documentation for Weatherford TRS Handling Equipment, Power Equipment and Electronic Control Systems for both Software and Hardware
  7. Maintain good standard of housekeeping practices in workshop and yard
  8. Under minimal supervision, assist in the repairs and maintenance of Tubular Running Services Equipment as per manufactures requirements and under the control of Weatherford Maintenance Procedures.
  9. Assist in the performance of function checks of Casing and Tubing Running Equipment against  with specified Work Instructions
  10. Housekeeping/maintenance duties in a safe manner as directed by your supervisor.
  11. Responsible for the upkeep of own training and competency portfolio
  12. Responsible for complying with Weatherford and Clients HSE policies whilst ensuring co-workers carry out work in safe manner. Under supervision, prepare assets and equipment as per Pre Dispatch Documentation
  13. With limited supervision, prepare assets and equipment as per Pre Dispatch Documentation
  14. Perform service and maintenance with limited supervision on mechanical and hydraulic components of mechanical handling tools, including power tongs, power units and other basic hydraulic mechanical handling equipment
  15. Assist with the Sub Product Lines of RSS and TDS as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of Hydraulic and mechanical systems
  2. 3 Years minimum experience in mechanical repairs, overhauling and Proven experience / exposure in Fluid Power, Fluid Flow and Fluid Diagrams
  3. Proven experience / exposure in Diesel Engine Repairs and Maintenance
  4. Proven experience / exposure in Repairs to Electronic Control Systems and Electronic Hardware
  5. Experience / exposure in Electronic Software and Software Upgrades
  6. Ability to logically trouble shoot issues 
  7. Good written and oral communication in English 
  8. Exposure to Computer Services and Functions (Web Based Software and Micro Soft Office)
  9. Fast learner, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills
  10. Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help
  11. Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments
  12. Ability to work within process, procedures and checklists
  13. Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assist in  resolving complex issues
  14. Experience / exposure in Web Based Maintenance Programs and Operating Management Systems refurbishment
