The Service Delivery Manager is the key resource of the Global Product Line to assure the flawless execution of Service Delivery.
Has primary responsibility for overseeing, advising and assisting in all phases of reliability. Subject matter expert to operations, Quality Maintenance & Reliability (QMR) and the GBU or Product Line.
Manages the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process for products and services and ensures follow through, completion and documentation of corrective action plans.
Works closely with Engineering and the Geozone Business Manager in projects to standardize process and service, as well as reliability strategies to ensure all new products meet technical and operational reliability requirements.
Approves failure reports and interacts with external customers to communicate product / service performance and trends.
Uses knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical analysis techniques, analyses preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering program to achieve the set Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the business
This position serves the purpose of a functional link between GPL and Geozone to ensure necessary support is provided to comply with all expectations of Service Delivery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill organizational and PL goals efficiently and effectively. Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track performance, trends and department direction.
Prepare and present Quarterly safety and quality statistics to the Corporate.
Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of Operational Control Plan processes and procedures to enhance quality, efficiency, and output.
When required, Audit operations to ensure operational excellence and compliance to various aspects of Service delivery and communicate with global support groups as required.
Ensuring client service delivery expectations are being met. Perform regular audits on workshop maintenance processes, rig operation procedures and ensure compliance with PL Governance Material
Assist and where required lead with investigations (PC1 & PC2 & PC3 events) and ensure lessons learned from these incidents are being communicated within the work flow.
Ensure traceability to nonconformities and alerts about chemicals and equipment.
Creation and revision of the technical work instructions as directed by GPL service delivery team.
Oversee PL Technical Committee for process and service staging
Work with the locations across the GPL to implement the new OEPS/API Q2 standards
Lead PL training and competence strategy for GPL consistent with Company’s Global processes and goals. Support with competency assessment and their quality checks
Provide technical support for both Weatherford PL Operation teams and Customers and acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in investigations and in the technical development of documents
Client visits and constant communication to demonstrate our commitment and promote the Weatherford OEP process. Addressing issues and emphasizing the value of contracting relevant PL services.
Establish effective communication with all areas of operation.
Keep control over applicable distribution list, documents in the share point and corporate folders.
Support with contract review and coordinate the compliance to existing contractual obligations from Service Delivery aspects.
Ensure that critical suppliers are subject to audit and work with local teams to set and measure KPIs. Assist with improving supplier performance as required.
Ensure that processes for equipment integrity are in place and drive continual improvement in equipment performance, reliability, safety and legal compliance, working with GPL, manufacturing, R&D as required.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Demonstrate effective Safety leadership at all times to enhance the organisation’s commitment to safety performance and ensure that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality and Reliability are the responsibility of all employees
Address QHSE and Reliability issues at the time of their identification and implement the appropriate strategies in conjunction with appropriate management matrix that maintain QHSE awareness throughout the workforce
Organizes personnel, equipment and material resources in the most productive and cost-effective way to meet activity demands.
Maintain a correct communication with QHSE to determine joint action plans that ensure compliance with the goals of the PL and QHSE
Use only for the Service Delivery Manager, where the role is the head of Reliability for a Global working at Global Product Line with a revenue of >30m and <100m.
Minimum 7+ years related experience - Must have an engineering degree or university degree - Must have a second language (preferably English)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in Drilling Fluids activities
Minimum 3 years’ experience in QHSE activities
Extensive experience in QHSE Practices and Drilling Fluids operations
Comprehensive knowledge and operational understanding of PL Services and Equipment.
Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help.
Good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project, MS SharePoint programmes as a minimum.
Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments
Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
Basic working knowledge surrounding occupational health and safety and corporate regulatory compliance.
Team worker, fast learner, results oriented, proactive and independent with strong interpersonal skills
Must be a good team leader with effective leadership and assertiveness skills, and have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be happy travelling frequently. The role will require periodic travel to fulfil the role requirements. This travel may be planned or as a result of an unplanned event requiring urgent travel.

Specific knowledge and expertise in at least one Weatherford product line (Drilling Fluids)
Minimum of six months as a Field Engineer or one year as a QHSE in Drilling Fluids.
Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry. Educated to degree level in: Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
Knowledge of Weatherford Services and Drilling Fluids operations / problem job analysis and reporting. Extensive experience in Drilling Fluids Operations like Field Coordinator o Field Operation Manager
Has fully operational command of the language (read, write and verbal) required to effectively communicate with the corporate team in North America and other global regions: appropriate, accurate and fluent with complete understanding
Recognised qualifications in auditing (OPITO, ASQ, ISO, API) or similar.
Basic understanding of financial statements.
Ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
Confidence to communicate at all levels in the organization.
