 Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Review and approve all client programs with PL SMEs and WPM Field Supervisors ahead of each operation
  • Review overall project status with the PM  team on a monthly basis and recommend corrective action where necessary
  • To be the focal point between field supervisors and company representative
  • Prepare and send a summary for the daily operations, containing only an essential information. Details or tables, if required, should come as attachments, report must be sent before 7:30 am every day
  • Ensure all PL’s are aligned and understand the operations to be performed on daily basis, attending all pre-job meetings wherever possible
  • Ensure all equipment and personnel are mobilizing as required. If any delay occurs, communicate immediately to the line supervisor in field or in town to solve the issue as soon as possible
  • Conduct daily meeting with field supervisors to review ongoing and forecasted operations
  • Participate in all client led “well on paper” exercises
  • Forecast and update a 30 day planner daily in order to specify personnel and equipment requirements. Ensure adequate notice is given to PLs and logistics.
  • Plan all operations to achieve zero NPT with no incidents or accidents
  • Responsible for the sequencing and scheduling of works across multiple projects in a program
  • Drafts the executive summary of the Project Monthly Report which shall include:
    • Project NPT register – distributed monthly
    • Project lessons learnt register – distributed monthly
    • Weekly and monthly cost tracker
    • Monthly variation tracker
  • Responsible for preparing the daily and monthly progress tracker
  • Responsible for coordinating and preparing EOWRs
  • Ensure all invoices are agreed and signed by the Company Representative once an operation is complete, even if there are concurrent operations ongoing with other PL’s. Once PL operation is concluded, utilization ticket should be approved in order to facilitate creation of the formal invoice
  • Provide to his back to back  a handover notes with all relevant information on operations, look ahead, personnel, coming operations, tickets, processes, etc.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, as well as applying Weatherford and where appropriate Client Company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Management Systems. Apply local and industry Safety regulations






Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in well operations in operational, technical sales and/or technical engineering
  • Previous on-site knowledge of oil & gas operations & industry best practices
  • Previous technical engineering experience in drilling / well control operations.
  • Excellent numeracy for field calculations, invoice preparation/approval, financial statement preparation Excellent computer skills (MS project server, sharepoint services, MS Office
  • Ability to demonstrate significant technical ability /experience in various Weatherford Product and Service lines (Knowledge of Weatherford Services is preferred)
  • Latest industry technologies and equipment for well operations, problem job analysis and reporting
  • Commercial experience in operations and tender preparation
  • Experience of budget preparation
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategy and business plans
