Main Responsibilities

  • Organization, coordination and leadership of HSE activity from local legal viewpoint for the entire organization (headquarter and secondary locations);
  • Prepare the H&S booklets and perform the general induction as required by legislation for all new or re-hired employees;
  • Issue, revise and implement the legally required HSE procedures;
  • Organize the quarterly Safety Committee meetings, prepare the topics, the reports and submit notifications to Labor Inspectorates;
  • Generate and maintain the evidences for the work places with special working conditions;
  • Lead the investigation of the work-related accidents and prepare the folder for Labor Inspectorate in line with local legal requirements;
  • Coordinate the 3rd party activities for identification, assessment and preparation of the HSE assessment reports for all work places in line with the applicable legal requirements applicable, including the prevention plans;
  • Local legal HSE system auditing;
  • Interface the local HSE authorities during controls/inspections, and report the closed out of the measures dictated by the authorities;
  • Generate and submit the HSE reports legally required to authorities;
  • Participate/lead the ISO required internal and external audits of the HSE vendors and participate to the re-certification/surveillance audits performed by the accreditation body;
  • Participate to WFT internal verification & assurance audits as required;
  • Contribute to the achievement of the HSE objectives and of the yearly QHSE plan;
  • Carry out HSE inspections of the facilities and HSE visits at the well sites;
  • Present in the monthly QHSE meetings HSE topics;
  • Organize and carry out legally required HSE meetings with personnel;
  • Maintain the health & safety registers at organization level for all positions within the structure;
  • Manage the occupational health aspects and interface the occupational health doctor and clinic;
  • Maintain the environmental authorizations, prepare the revision of those and secure the annual visa;
  • Manage the waste resulted from activities in order to dispose according to legal requirements and maintain the written evidence resulted.


Qualifications / skills / knowledge / experience:
  • Technical university studies, preferable in oil & gas industry, mechanical industry;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in same position
  • H&S Inspector and Risks Evaluator certificates in line with H&S Law 319/2006 requirements
  • Environmental responsible certified according to legal requirements
  • Internal auditor certificate either for Integrated Management Systems either for ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
  • Experience in managing QHSE integrated management systems or HSE management systems
  • Microsoft Office package, Word, Excel, Power Point (required advanced level)
  • English language, advanced
  • Is a plus having Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001:2018, certificate/certificates
