Evaluate shale reservoirs and conventional reservoirs and build appropriate reservoir models, perform history match and forecast scenarios. Understand various completion strategies artificial lift, alternate production strategies, production allocation and forecasting. Evaluate water conformance problems and provide integrated water management solutions from fluid design to placement techniques. Generate analytical simulation models or conformance fluids flow in porous media. Conduct complex experimental laboratory testing of fracturing, conformance and sand control fluids, including fluid mechanics models. Conduct well test analysis related to designing and interpreting diagnostic fracture injection tests for tectonic stress characterization. Identify and incorporate best practices for optimizing hydrocarbon recovery. Integrate geosciences information with observed reservoir phenomena. Build sand production prediction geomechanical models and design sand control fluids. Conduct simulation of complex completions, evaluating performance and reservoir management strategies. Perform studies to review, optimize and plan field development. Perform interference studies to identify optimal well spacing and predict future well performance. Work closely with client operational staff as well as other technical geoscience professionals to solve well and reservoir problems in innovative and unconventional ways.
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering with three years’ experience as a Reservoir Engineer or Technical Advisor with water conformance, including simulation models to predict sand production and design of sand control and conformance fluids for conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
