QUALIFICATIONS

Director M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions)

Be responsible for all phases of the transaction process including target introductions and screening, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation and closing. Communicate and align with key internal stakeholders to support decision making and transaction approval processes. Prioritize and assess transaction opportunities and establishing transaction strategy. Conduct strategic and financial analysis and modeling of potential acquisitions and possible alternatives (including buy, build, or partner analysis in conjunction with the sponsoring businesses). Understand business strategy and help source transactions within that strategic framework. Conduct proforma and valuation analyses for prospective and active transactions, including working with functional teams/ outside advisors to validate critical assumptions. Perform Financial Analysis and assist in corporate development projects. Assist in M&A transactions for oilfield services companies including valuation, transaction structuring, pro forma analyses, due diligence and post transaction integration.  Research and recommend courses of action both at the project and deal level that directly contributes to project outcome. Prepare strategic options translating them into financial/valuation models.  Analyze and track industry and competitor trends, expansion opportunities and internal performance. Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams including business unit partners, other corporate support functions and external service providers. Develop and coach junior team members (training, coaching and mentoring). 

 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field and seven years’ experience in financial analysis and corporate development with a public accounting firm, corporate finance, investment banking or private equity firm including five years (within 7) handling M&A transactions for oilfield service companies including valuation, transaction structuring, pro forma analyses, due diligence and post transaction integration as well as translating strategic options into financial/valuation models
