DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and process biweekly and semi-monthly payrolls in the U.S. in a multi-state environment
Review and compute wages, and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings and that all changes to payroll are processed timely and correctly.
Comply with federal, state and local taxation and regulatory requirements
Coordinate and process special payments and off-cycle checks with Payroll Manager
Monitor and audit time and attendance system
Must understand & comply with all safety rules & company policies of Weatherford
Maintain confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information and any proprietary information and ensure payroll information is secure
Provide excellent customer service while exercising the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with employee information
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
3 years of payroll experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly to changing needs
Able to work both independently and in collaboration with members of the team
Ability to follow through and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with payroll systems required
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills required
Knowledge of Peoplesoft and Infinium payroll systems preferred
