JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for designing solutions that exhibits unified vision for software characteristics and functions. The goal of this role is to provide a framework / optimal architecture for the development of a software or complex system that will result in high quality technical solutions.

Lead the architectural design for software applications

Provide technical leadership for software development projects

Drive architectural and design decisions to fulfil business requirements

Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications

Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product

Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility

Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards

Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team

Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design

Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers

Assist the software project manager in technical aspects

Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.

Effectively communicate complex architectural and development concepts

Support assessments and audits to verify applicable quality and safety standards

Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Technology, or related technical field

Minimum 12 years of applicable professional experience

Prior experience building and supporting distributed applications and infrastructure

Master in software architecture, design, implementation in a developer leadership role

Master in application of information technology fundamentals including networks, servers, and operating systems

Advanced in documenting design requirements, work instructions, test plans, technical specifications, etc.

C#, .NET Core & ASP.NetCore

Web technologies (Angular 4+, Bootstrap, NPM, etc.)
