JOB DESCRIPTION

Software Support Engineer is responsible for day-to-day coordination of all software products used by the customer(s) in the immediate region.  Expected to provide local support of the applications and projects, including training of end-users on the usage of the products.  Will attempt to resolve any issues for the customers, and will coordinate all issues with the Product Center.  Functionality reports to the Software Services Coordinator or Operation Manager.
Expected intermediate knowledge of oil & gas production process, and well production using different LSA, capabilities to interact with customer on his own and understand customer requirements in order to bring the right solution. Provide custom solutions, utilities and system integration using scripts.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 4 years supporting or deploying Software Services

Essential:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering with strong computing background.
  • High English dominance or Bi-lingual.
  • Mathematical logic and C/C++ bases development languages knowledge.
  • Conversant in Microsoft SQL
  • Electronic basics and controllers-VSD knowledge and experience.
  • Oit & Gas production process knowledge and wells ALS.
  • Ability to work independently (little direct supervision) and coordinate with offsite management/peers.

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of C, C++.
  • Understanding of databases and informatics systems.
  • Basic understanding of different lift systems.
