Drives any types and makes of vehicles classified as “B”, “C”, “D” and “E” categories available in the Company
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Carries out all current and preventive repairs of vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers; performs maintenance and cleaning. Eliminates operational failures of vehicles, which occurred during work and require disassembling of a unit. Makes adjustments at locations in the absence of technical assistance and carries out minor repairs of the 2nd – 4th categories of difficulty.
2. Brings up a vehicle for loading and unloading, secures the load. Controls the accuracy of loading, placing and securing of the load in the body or the trailer (semi-trailer) of a vehicle.
3 Keeps the equipment clean and in operable condition.
4. Fills up the vehicle with fuel, oil and coolant.
5. Checks technical condition of a vehicle before every trip and brings it back to its designated place on return to the base.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
3+ years related experience
Driving license with necessary categories
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Willingness to work under varying conditions and in remote locations
Ability to perform under time constraints
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
