JOB DESCRIPTION

Operate casing and tubing tongs, power units, and handle tools used in tubular make-up both on-shore and offshore environments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transport crews and equipment to job site in the absence of the Crew Pusher.

Supervise and help with rigging up and down of power tongs, power units, stabbing boards, and tubular handling equipment.

Visually inspect equipment before, during, and after jobs to ensure field readiness and safe operation of equipment.

Conduct pre-job safety meetings with crew.

Perform all duties of casing crew.

Perform accurate tickets, job reports, time sheets, and other administrative forms

May serve as well site representative in the absence of Crew Pusher

Rig up and rig down power tongs and power units

Assist in duties requires with ongoing casing/ tubular operations

Available on a 24 hour basis to respond to customer needs

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Strong communication skills

Working knowledge of all equipment and maintenance procedures

General knowledge of casing/tubing operations

Previous offshore experience

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

Mechanical aptitude

CDL Preferred
