Under the direction & Supervision of the R&M Supervisor and assigned Facility Lead, Mentors & Trainers undertake training & gain competency of Drilling Services Level 1 R&M Maintenance Standards within the designated sub Product Group Line/s (PGL/s).
Responsibilities include operation inspection and testing of product and basic assembly and disassembly as dictated in the relevant PGL Level 1 R&M Competency Standard. It is required to actively engage in the OEPS & QHSE systems and procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all duties associated with R&M Technician I (as necessary)
Performs full cleaning, testing and inspection of all MWD and Surface equipment
Completes and collects required service records and documentation, and stores electronic copies online and hard copies in files.
Performs failure analysis and update analysis in the Reliability database. Performs CR’s, NCR’s, Work Order Requests, Work Orders, PFTs, TERs, and read and file all tech alerts.
Assists R&M Technicians in their roles when necessary.
Maintains all shop equipment and tools in good working order
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Previous experience equivalent to an R&M Technician
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Technical knowledge of Drilling Systems products and Services
Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.
Previous experience as a R&M Technician
Degree or previous experience with electronics
Previous knowledge of Oil and Gas
